returns policy

all returns must be fit into the criteria of approved returns and they must be pre-approved by us (bedouin SOCIETE). if returns are approved the items must meet our returns terms and conditions. PLEASE REFER TO OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS. to arrange a return you must contact us to register your request for return within 7 days of receiving your goods and return the goods to us within 14 days of being notified of our approval for return. if we do not receive the return within these time frames we will not accept the return. please allow 5-7 days for processing of your return.

refunds

we do not offer refunds on purchases only a credit which is in the form of a gift voucher. please take the time to carefully make your purchase and read item details or contact us for assistance. 

exchanges

we are not able to facilitate exchanges however you can return the an item and repurchase another item. you will be issued with a credit for the approved return in the form of a gift voucher. we do not credit freight and freight will be charged on any new purchase when using the credit gift voucher. if you wish to repurchase another item we  recommend you purchase the item you would like as soon as possible to guarantee your purchase. our stocks change everyday. we do not hold stock. the return process can take between 7-14 days from point of sending the item back to us and our warehouse receiving, completing check and approval and issue of credit. we will notify you when sending gift voucher.

product variations

our products are made from natural fibres and include items woven on old style semi-automatic looms, handwoven and handmade items. irregularities in weave, variations in colour and patina may occur within any one item or between items of the same style and colour. they are not fault’s in our products and do occur when manufacturing products from natural fibres and especially products made on semi-automatic or hand looms.

many of our products are dyed and prewashed with the intention of achieving an aged patina and relaxed natural handle which is synonymous with our style. this process makes each item unique.

it is important to note when dyeing any product there is often shade variation between the different dye batches. this can result in a variation in shade and depth between ten or, fifteen percent. 

please refer to our product variation policy for further details in relation to product variations.

natural fiber's such as pure linen can stretch and or be slightly smaller than specified sizes. pure linen does return to size with laundering.

faulty items

our products are manufactured to the highest quality and standards.  they also receive a number quality checks through the manufacturing process to finishing stage. if you receive an item you believe to be a defect complete the returns form and provide details which include a brief description and upload any photos showing the defect. we would also need your order number and name and photo of any swing tags and brand label. a fault or defect may be a damaged item or a manufacturing fault. items that appear damaged from natural and acceptable wear and tear or incorrect laundering are not considered to be a defect or fault. we reserve the right to repair or replace the approved defect item.

incorrect delivery 

it is the receiver’s responsibility to check goods received within two days (48 hours) of receiving your delivery. if you receive your order and you have received an incorrect item you must advise within 48hrs upon receiving the order in writing to our email. info@bedouinsociete.com

you must quote your order/invoice number in any communications and complete the returns form.

shipping

we do not accept responsibility for lost, attempted delivery and returned to us, theft of packages and or delays in transit times. if item is redirected to the carrier depot you must contact the carrier directly to arrange a suitable re-delivery or collection. we do not accept additional charges for re-delivery.

if an error is made by you in the shipping address and the order is redirected or returned, we reserve the right to re-charge the freight cost or associated costs in order to re-ship the order. this includes any charges we may incur from the courier, customs, government taxes and fees.

multiple return requests

we do monitor the number of requests for exchange returns by any one customer, repeated returns by any one customer will be flagged and managed at our discretion

markdowns, final sale and promotional

products marked down from original price or have been offered on a sale, or promotional offer and or final sale are not eligible for return or credit, unless deemed a defect or faulty. we reserve the right to repair, or replace defect items. upon placing your order with us for any sale, promotional or mark down items you agree that the item cannot be returned or exchanged. items purchased prior to a promotion or mark down cannot be returned for credit and re-purchased on discount. we reserve the right to decline the order placed with discounts.

first order discount

the first order discount applies to your first order only, it is a once only offer. any returns of items purchased with the first order discount will be credited in the form of a gift voucher to the value of what you paid and we received as payment for the item. when re-purchasing items the first order discount does not apply to the new purchase. we do not credit freight.

special order items

special-order items are not eligible for return or exchange, unless deemed faulty.

returns purchased from other retailers

we only accept returns purchased through our web site and any return must be accompanied with proof of purchase and the return form completed. purchases made through other retailers must be returned through that retailer and follow their return policy guidelines.

how to return

the items must be returned in their original condition, in original packaging, unwashed, unused, with all tags attached, with invoice receipt (proof of payment) to be eligible for a credit. the credit will be in the the form of a gift voucher which you can use for your next purchase. any items not received in this condition will not be credited and will be returned to you at your cost. 

we do not pay for returned items, this will be at your cost. if using a credit gift voucher the cost of freight will be added at checkout when you place order. the exception to this is if the item is deemed damaged or faulty by us. merchant fees including pay pal or bank fees are not refundable.

we will not be responsible for return packages that are lost or go missing or are not collected from a carrier depot. items returned should be sent to us by trackable mail or freight method. we recommend australia post with tracking.
